After the 3rd edition of the Voice of Erakor Lagoon activity organised by the Chief of Solwota, October 24 2024, the Eraso Association organised a massive awareness to the Erakor Communities, from the 8 of November including dissemination of a Petition to Save the Erakor Lagoon, while mobilizing the Community to participate in a clean in the margins and bottom on the Erakor Lagoon.
It worth to hear the Eraso awareness activities to the Erakor and Tokyo Communities to understand the pollution problems of the Erakor Lagoons and be available to support this important cause that will contribute immensely to get the “Paradise Clean Again”
The activity counted with waste separation in order to recognize value in the various types of waste collected.
Various authorities were invited, including the members of the Waste Water Task Force to participate but decided not to participate in this community activity as part of the Erakor Lagoon. The Vanuatu Police Force, V Organic and the Department of Environment and Port Vila Municipality contributed for the event to be a success.
