Putting forward a story about the climate crisis to the International Court of Justice to support Vanuatu’s resolution approved by Consensus at the last UN General Assembly on linking Human Rights to Climate Change
Erakor Community has been critical in supporting the idea that Climate Change affects Human Rights. Currently the People who live around the Erakor Lagoon cannot fish.
The Erakor Community requested to their own tribal Chiefs to impose a fishing ban.

The Erakor Bridge Chief, some member of his community organized a Solidarity Concert to both support:
– The victims of the double cyclone Judy and Kevin
– support the Government of Vanuatu initiative to put forward an initiative for Climate Justice
From the beginning we all knew that this would be an historical change providing hope to 7billion People and their Future.
A long way to go but, a stimulating VICTORY!
